What you need to know:
Horseback riding starts from the “Le Pietre Nere” equestrian center, and in a few minutes you can reach the beautiful beach of Recanati (Giardini Naxos).
From here our horseback ride continues along a stretch of beach alternating with very fine sand and pebbles to arrive at the mouth of the Alcantara river, and continue up to the beach of San Marco in the Municipality of Calatabiano (CT).The walk continues to Fiumefreddo and the beach of Riposto in the 2-hour tour. Depending on the time you decide to use, you can take various routes. It is possible to go up the bed of the Alcantara river, especially in the summer season, when the river is passable for a long stretch.You can go along the beach of San Marco (Calatabiano) and go up the hills of Fiumefreddo also entering the Fiumefreddo nature reserve.
Young people aged 14 and over can also participate, provided they already know how to ride a horse and are accompanied by a parent. For children under 14 there is the possibility to stay in our stables and take advantage of an introduction to horse riding lesson with our ponies.
It is advisable to wear comfortable clothing.
